ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE GRANDEST GLOVING GATHERING PRESENTED BY GLOVING'S GREATEST RESOURCE
The G3 is an in-person competition and gathering held to bring the gloving community together in the city that gave it life before it spread across the US and eventually the world.
This event is designed to run smoothly for competitors and center around the SPECTATORS of the event. The most important part of a performance is the AUDIENCE (even if it is an audience of one).
The G3 consists of two competitive events and three DJ sets. We will also have vendors, fully stocked bar, food options and PLENTY OF SPACE TO GIVE LIGHT SHOWS, DANCE, AND FLOW.
For the first time in gloving history, a gloving competition will also feature an event centered around the LA Dance community and its various styles hosted by Animated J - more information to be announced
*Winner of each event will receive a championship title belt and cash prize.

Each structure is devised to be the most challenging single-day climb in competitive history.
The Gloving tournament is filled with specific details curated to bring out the best light shows in every competitor.
The Movement Championship is designed to allow any style of full-body dance to perform, participate and compete on a grand stage alongside the gloving community.

Event Structure
OPEN BRACKET ROUNDS:
Round 1 = 48 Glovers -> 24 Winners + 8 Redemption = 32 Glovers move on
Round 2 = 36 Glovers -> 16 Winners + 8 Redemption = 24 Glovers move on
Round 3 = 24 Glovers -> 12 Winners + ZERO REDEMPTION = 12 Survivors move on
CONTENDERS are past tournament champions who have accepted their invitation. The 12 Survivors will EACH be paired against one of the 12 contenders in Round 4.
PLAYOFF ROUND:
24 Glovers = 12 Winners + 4 REDEMPTION = 16 Glovers move on
BUBBLE ROUND:
16 Glovers = 8 Winners + ONE FINAL REDEMPTION = 9 Glovers EARN PRIZES and move on
SEMI-FINAL ROUND:
9 glovers will be split into THREE GROUPS OF THREE.
Semi-final matches will have AT LEAST 3 judges per show.
Glovers will face off in three-way Battles to determine each of the Three Finalists.
Glovers will each get to CHOOSE THEIR OWN LIGHT SHOW RECIPIENT for the Semi-Final Battle (Cannot choose their opponents or judges for their match)
The winner of each 3-way battle moves on to the Grand Finals.
2nd and 3rd place are eliminated WITH PRIZES.
GRAND FINAL ROUND:
Three-Way Final Battle. Highest Scores Determines 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
This Match will have SIX judges including at least one judge from each semi-final
Judge panel
We may also Include Special Guest NON-GLOVER Judges who can award points for the non-glover perspective.
The G3 contains elements unique to Yougotmoves Produced Events:
*Round 1, 2, 4 and 5 allow for 'redemption' (if you lose your match, you may still move onto the next round if you score high enough)
*Round 5 light shows will be to a live performance on stage by Box of Beats (~2:30 light show)

CLAIMING YOUR SPOT1:
We want to ensure this event is filled with invitations from the LA Dance and freestyle communities. Please contact ANIMATED J directly to secure a spot.
Movement Championship Event Structure:
Prelims
20 Dancers are each given 1x 45second round in front of our panel of 5 all-styles judges.
Judges are each given 1 category to score that suits their specialty.
All categories will be chosen in a way that allow any full body style to compete and be compared fairly.
Playoffs
The top 4 scores move on to face Four guest battlers in an 8-dancer bracket via 1 on 1 matches.
Each dancer is given two 45second rounds.
All rounds will be judged by the same 5-judge panel.
Semi-Finals
4 Semi-finalists paired into 1 on 1 matches.
Each Dancer is given two 60second rounds.
Grand Finals
The winners face off in a head-to-head battle.
Each dancer is given three 60 second rounds
This is a FULL BODY MOVEMENT competition. No props, lights, or momentum outside of your own body can be featured in performances. This includes hats, sunglasses, shirts, other clothing, etc.
Music for the competition will vary in style from round to round. Music is linked below via a Spotify playlist to allow competitors to familiarize themselves with the music used for the event.
Movement Championship Event Prize Structure
Each entrant will be given a high-quality digital copy of their Preliminary Round within 90 days of the event.
Each Entrant will be provided with a Fiddlink from handhealth.com
Finalists Paid Cash
Championship title for the winner.

-GLOVES, LIGHTS, FLOW ARTS, HOOPS, POI, LED THINGS OF ALL KINDS
-Cell Phones
-Professional Cameras allowed with permission from staff
-CLOSED packs of cigarettes upon entry
-Lighters
-Electronic cigarettes / small vapes (MUST BE USED OUTSIDE ON PATIO ONLY)
-Fanny Packs, Small Purses, or single-pocket Drawstring Bags
-Medication (with prescription matching government valid ID
-Sunglasses
-Hats
-Masks
-Costumes (No clown attire)
-GOOD VIBES AND GREAT ATTITUDES
Prohibited Items
-Drugs or drug paraphernalia of any kind including cannabis
-Outside food or beverages (exceptions available for medical or dietary restrictions if necessary)
-Open packs of cigarettes (upon entry)
-Backpacks or large purses.
-Tripods or Monopods
-Weapons of any kind
-Glass or bottles of any kind
-Noise producing items such as airhorns or megaphones
-Laser Pointers / Laser pens
-Fireworks or anything openly flammable (Sorry to any fire spinners attending!)
**All individuals are subject to search upon entry into the event.
Digital tickets for VENUE ENTRY will be sent out via email immediately after purchase.
If you can no longer attend and wish to sell/transfer your GENERAL ADMISSION ticket, you will find the access to do so in the email where you received your digital ticket.

Competitor tickets cannot be transferred. They are refunded + returned to the pool to be sold to the public if you can not attend after purchasing.
